Our story

Built by two developers who saw how clinics are run

We’re two software developers in Cairo, Egypt. We saw how clinics are actually managed: bookings in one place, the medical file in another, and insurance worked out by hand, then checked again at the end of the month.

We founded Wymdo to build ClinicWorks as the one system we thought a clinic should have — the front desk, the doctor, billing and the owner working on the same patient and the same visit, in Arabic and English.

We still build it that way: from how a clinic runs its day, one screen at a time. And this site only describes what the product does today.

Why it exists

Most clinic software is built for one market and translated afterwards. ClinicWorks started from the clinic day as it runs here — two languages, insurance contracts on most visits, and groups with more than one branch — and was designed around it.

Arabic and English

Built in two languages, not translated into one

Every screen works in Arabic, right to left, and in English, and each person picks their own. The papers a patient takes home print in the language they read.

Prescription directions print in Arabic or English; referral letters and medical reports pick their language by who will read them.
Each country’s national medicine list — Egypt and Saudi Arabia — searched together with your clinic’s own.
ICD-10 from the WHO’s own release, found by code or by words.
Numbers typed on an Arabic keyboard are read as numbers.

Trust

Your clinic’s data, kept the way a clinic would keep it

Your own address

Each clinic group signs in at its own web address, and its data is kept apart from every other clinic’s.

Files stored in Frankfurt

Uploads go straight from the browser to AWS storage in the EU (Frankfurt), through links that expire.

Signed, then locked

A visit is signed by its doctor. Changes after signing are stamped, and once the episode ends the visit is locked — anything later is a dated addendum.

Reports that can be checked

Every issued medical report carries a QR code. Scanning it confirms the clinic issued it, and never shows anything medical.

Sessions that end

Sign-ins expire, and end with the browser unless someone chooses Remember me. New staff replace a one-time password the first time they sign in.

Who did what, and when

Bookings, confirmations, cancellations, no-shows, refunds and shifts each record who did them and when.
